Zara Larsson Teases an Elevated New Era and Dreams of an Arena Tour

Written by on October 17, 2026

Zara Larsson is ready to take her artistic vision to the next level as she looks ahead to her next musical era.

During a recent appearance on the Las Culturistas podcast, co-hosts Matt Rogers and Bowen Yang asked the singer whether she had started working on the follow-up to her 2025 breakthrough album, Midnight Sun.

The “Lush Life” hitmaker revealed that she already has a clear vision for what comes next, teasing a new chapter that will build on her signature vibrant aesthetic while introducing a more refined look and sound.

“It’s definitely not a 180,” Zara explained. “It will be like fun and joyful and happiness and colours, but like elevated and refined… I have a name for it. I know what I want.”

However, the 28-year-old made it clear that she is not quite ready to leave the Midnight Sun era behind.

“I do think where we are right now, I’m not done with the Midnight Sun era,” she added.

Zara also suggested that the music video for her song “Blue Moon” could offer fans a glimpse into the creative direction of her upcoming work.

“I hope when people see this music video, it’s going to make them feel like we’re in the world, but we have evolved a bit,” she said.

Looking ahead, the “Never Forget You” singer expressed her desire to build a strong connection with her audience as she continues to evolve as an artist.

“Whatever comes next, I want to build that trust with the listeners and the people who are watching it to know, like, you’re in good hands and come with me on this journey, and I will show you great things,” Zara shared.

Beyond her plans for new music, the Swedish pop star also revealed that returning to the stage is high on her list of priorities. In particular, she dreams of delivering a full-scale arena tour with spectacular production.

“I really just want to be more creative, and my dream is to have a full-on arena tour where I can really have an amazing production and go wherever I’m at and have the same stage and just everything that I’ve dreamed of to really entertain and like do that as well as I can possibly do,” she said.

“I just can’t wait for that,” she added with a smile.

With a new creative vision already taking shape and ambitions for a major arena tour, Zara Larsson is preparing to build on the success of Midnight Sun while giving fans plenty to look forward to in her next chapter.
