Pitbull Reveals Jon Bon Jovi Wants Another Collaboration After ‘Now or Never’ Success

Written by on October 23, 2026

Pitbull has revealed that Jon Bon Jovi is eager to collaborate with him again following the success of their joint project, Now or Never.

The 45-year-old star was thrilled to team up with the legendary rocker to reimagine Bon Jovi’s 1999 hit It’s My Life. Released in November 2024, the revamped version, titled Now or Never, became Bon Jovi’s first song to appear on Billboard’s Pop Airplay chart since Who Says You Can’t Go Home nearly two decades earlier.

During a live Superstar Q+A: The Story Behind the Charts panel with Billboard chief content officer Leila Cobo, Pitbull reflected on the experience and the trust that came with it.

“When someone gives you that kind of trust, it becomes a responsibility,” he said.

“Now, whenever I see Bon Jovi, he asks me, ‘When are we going to do another one?’”

Pitbull, also known as Mr Worldwide, has continued to explore collaborations with legendary artists. On his new album, PITCOIN, he joins glam rock icons KISS for Reach for the Stars, a fresh take on their classic hit Rock and Roll All Nite.

“It’s an honour for the iconic group KISS to bless us and agree to remake one of the greatest songs of all time,” he said.

Pitbull also explained how the track became part of his live performances, revealing that it was used as the opening song for a show.

“To be able to perform it on stage… it’s funny, because we used it as the intro to a show, so it almost feels like the law of attraction,” he said. “You put it out into the universe, and it comes back.”

Throughout his career, Pitbull has collaborated with a wide range of artists, from Enrique Iglesias to Lil Jon, demonstrating his belief that music knows no boundaries.

Earlier this year, his 2011 collaboration with Jennifer Lopez, On the Floor, returned to the Billboard charts after being featured in Amazon Prime Video’s series Off Campus.

Looking back on the hit, Pitbull expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to work with Lopez.

“At the time, I was so blessed and honoured to work with Jennifer Lopez,” he said.

“Everything she’s done in her career, climbing from the bottom, all the success that she has… Jennifer, I appreciate you.”

Despite his impressive catalogue of hits and chart success, Pitbull insisted that rankings are not what drive his musical journey.

“I don’t pay much attention to the music charts. What’s meant for you, no one can take away. What’s destined to be will be,” he explained.

He also credited rapper Lil Jon with giving him an important opportunity early in his career.

“Lil Jon gave me an opportunity. I’m someone who hasn’t always been given the best opportunities — and when you get one, you don’t let it pass you by,” Pitbull added.
