Aerosmith and YUNGBLUD scoop Official Number 1 album with One More Time

Written by on November 28, 2025

Aerosmith and YUNGBLUD scoop this week’s Official Number 1 album with collaborative project One More Time.

This marks US rock legends Aerosmith’s first UK Number 1 LP, 38 years after their debut, and a fourth chart-topping accolade in YUNGBLUD’s arsenal. It is also the Brit’s second Number 1 of 2025, after Idols debut at the summit in June.

Celebrating the feat, YUNGBLUD exclusively tells Official Charts: “No words can express how grateful I am for this… my second Official Number 1 of 2025. Massive love to everyone who supported this record in the name of rock and roll!
“Aerosmith has been part of the soundtrack to my life. Thank you to Joe and Steven for riding with me – I can’t believe we made a record together!

“This is the cherry on top of a f*cking crazy, emotional rollercoaster of a year. Bring on 2026! Love.”

It’s the latest achievement in what’s proven to be a phenomenal year for YUNGBLUD, seeing him as the only British artist ever to receive three GRAMMY nominations in the Rock categories, drawing level with Bruce Springsteen, U2 and Foo Fighters.

One More Time also tops the Official Vinyl Albums Chart and the Official Record Store Chart, shifting more copies than any other album on wax over the past seven days, as well as being named the most popular album in UK independent record shops.

Elsewhere, with the release of a deluxe version of the record last week, Tate McRae’s So Close To What rockets 20 places up the chart (4).

Olly Murs secures his eighth Top 5 record with Knees Up (5).

James’s Nothing But Love – The Definitive Best Of earns the Manchester outfit a 13th Top 10 album (6).

The loveable legends that are Madness have clinched another Top 10 with their career-spanning compilation Hit Parade (8).

Both Anthology 4 (9) and the Anthology Collection (29) are new entries for The Beatles.

Congratulations go to British DJ, songwriter and producer Sub Focus, who bags a personal best with latest LP Contact (10).
EsDeeKid’s Rebel continues to blaze up the Albums Chart, claiming a brand-new peak (13).

With a deluxe version dropping this week, Ed Sheeran’s former chart-topper Play rises nine up the rankings (23).

He’s officially defrosted! Michael Bublé has arrived for the holiday season, as Christmas returns to the Top 40, springing 20 places (24).

And finally, following the incredibly sad death of bassist Gary ‘Mani’ Mounfield, The Stone Roses find both their self-titled debut (25) and The Very Best of the Stone Roses (37) back inside the Top 40.
