HUNTR/X eye a tenth non-consecutive week at Number 1 with KPop Demon Hunters smash Golden.
A slew of Halloween hits surge midweek, led by Michael Jackson’s classic Thriller. The track could secure a brand-new Number 2 peak this week, having previously reached Number 10 on its release in 1983.
Bobby “Borris” Pickett’s Monster Mash could also bag a new best. Soundtracking Halloween parties across the country, the song sits at Number 6 midweek, looking to surpass its previous Number 29 peak.
Other Halloween hits set to see a surge include Ray Parker Jr’s Ghostbusters (8), Rockwell’s Somebody’s Watching Me (10), Danny Elfman’s This Is Halloween (12) and Andrew Gold’s Spooky Scary Skeletons (13).
Finally, Chappell Roan’s The Subway eyes a return to the Top 20, up 57 midweek (20).
