Scouting For Girls announce new album ‘These Are The Good Days’

Written by on November 7, 2025

Chart-topping, multi-Platinum selling trio Scouting For Girls have announced the release of their new album, These Are The Good Days, set to arrive on March 27th, 2026. The record is the follow-up to 2023’s The Place We Used To Meet, which marked the band’s highest-charting album in eight years. They have premiered the title track and lead single, a joyous anthem of appreciating the present moment.

The new single, “These Are The Good Days,” features a luminous piano melody, sun-kissed guitars, and, for the first time, soulful gospel harmonies, offering a modern twist on classic Californian pop-rock—infused, of course, with their distinctively British charm.

Vocalist and pianist Roy Stride revealed the dramatic inspiration behind the music. While working on a songwriting opportunity in Los Angeles, his family was suddenly evacuated due to California’s wildfire season. He aimed to transform that tense experience into something positive: “I wanted to write the most uplifting song I could.”

Stride realized that he would ultimately look back on that time as a “golden period” because his family was together, concluding: “I hope this record adds to the soundtrack — it’s packed with the positivity, fun, and sunshine that people have always associated with Scouting for Girls.”

The album itself is predominantly high-energy and themed around a determination to live your best life. It includes tracks like the instant standout “Get What You Give,” the timeless ballad “Stars Never Fade,” and the string-laden closer “Alright In The End,” offering an uplifting antidote to the daily grind. The album was entirely written and produced by Roy Stride, alongside founding members Greg Churchouse and Pete Ellard.

The trio’s enduring popularity is clear: their 2026 UK and Ireland headline tour—celebrating the 15th anniversary of their Platinum-selling album Everybody Wants To Be On TV—is already almost sold out.

These Are The Good Days is now available for pre-order across multiple formats, including digital, CD, and turquoise vinyl.
