Sharon Stone is suiting up for pool season a little early. On Friday, the 68-year-old actress kicked off the summer countdown by posing glam-free wearing nothing but a jewel-toned geometric string bikini.

The Basic Instinct alum showed off her makeup-free complexion in an unfiltered look at her sun-soaked pool day. Stone struck a pose against the backdrop of an idyllic pool in her backyard, showing off a string bikini decorated with abstract green, purple, black, and burgundy patterns. Pulling her platinum blonde bob back into a sleek ponytail, the star made a whimsical beauty statement by partially covering her eyes with the lush green leaves of a tree branch, which she held in her right hand.

Stone accessorized with a red string necklace, which featured a minimalist tassel pendant at the end. In her May 1 Instagram post, Stone reminded her followers that “Summer’s around the corner,” adding, “Happy Friday my loves 🥰.”

The mom-of-three—who adopted sons Quinn, 19, Laird, 20, and Roan, 25—previously opened up about why she’s not afraid of “aging” or “nudity” in a fiery video in February. The Casino actress said it is the “weirdest idea in the world” that society censors the human body and its universal functions, asking her followers, “Are we supposed to be terrified when we look in the mirror? Is it supposed to be a secret when we pee and poo and brush our teeth? Why are we supposed to be afraid of our own human self?”

The artist doubled down on her message, continuing, “”Excuse me, I wear it every day. I get up in it. I go to sleep in it. I pee in it. I poo in it. It’s my apartment. I live here.”

Stone has previously opened up about finding beauty and joy in her changing body, telling The Times in a March 2025 interview, “A lot of people give up as they get older. They let go of their body because it’s collapsing anyway, or it’s like, ‘I’m not defined by my body any more.’ But you still have to love that body. I joke that my underarms have pleats now.”

“I think, ‘Well, I had beautiful arms and now they’re strong and painting and like angel wings. So what if they have pleats? Maybe that’s what makes them wonderful now,” she added.”
