Global superstar The Weeknd has officially cemented his place in music history, as his mammoth “After Hours Til Dawn Tour” (AHTD) has surpassed $1 billion in gross revenue. This colossal achievement makes AHTD the top-earning solo male artist tour in history, setting a staggering new benchmark in live entertainment.
Since its launch in 2022, the tour has been a non-stop global phenomenon, traversing North America (twice), Europe, the UK, Latin America, and Australia. With the recent announcement of 2026 dates across Mexico, Brazil, Europe, and the UK, the tour has now sold over 7.5 million tickets across 153 shows and counting.
The success of the tour is underscored by a string of record-breaking performances across the globe. The 2025 North American stadium leg alone featured over 40 sold-out shows with groundbreaking production. The Weeknd became the top-grossing Black male artist in the history of venues in major markets like New York, Denver, and Houston. He also set the highest attendance records for an R&B male artist in cities including Boston and Orlando. In his home country, he broke the all-time record for most shows by a male solo artist on a single tour at Toronto’s Rogers Centre with six performances.
Beyond the commercial triumph, the tour has had a significant philanthropic impact. To date, The Weeknd has donated more than $8.5 million to the XO Humanitarian Fund and Global Citizen, with proceeds from the upcoming 2026 run set to continue supporting the World Food Program and Global Citizen.
