BBC Celebrates 20 Years of Amy Winehouse’s Back to Black With Special Programming

The BBC will mark the 20th anniversary of Amy Winehouse’s landmark album Back to Black with special programming across television, radio and digital platforms.
The centerpiece will be Amy Winehouse: Back to Black at 20, a recording of a special anniversary concert at London’s Roundhouse on October 21, 2026. The show will feature original album producers Mark Ronson and Salaam Remi, The Amy Winehouse Band and guest singers including Jorja Smith, Corinne Bailey Rae, FLO, Lianne La Havas and Yebba.
BBC Two and BBC iPlayer will air the concert in late October, alongside documentaries and archival performances celebrating Winehouse’s career.
On BBC Radio 2, the full concert will air October 26 during Jo Whiley’s evening show. The station will also rebroadcast the documentary Amy Winehouse: Legacy of a Lioness.
Meanwhile, BBC Radio 6 Music will dedicate October 23 to Winehouse with Amy Winehouse Forever, featuring archival performances, interviews and special programming from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.
The BBC said the tribute will celebrate Winehouse’s lasting influence and the continued impact of her music.
