Written by on November 25, 2023

Jack Harlow has swept away the competition to dominate for a second week at Number 1 on the Official Singles Chart with Lovin On Me.

Last week, the Louisville rapper scored his first-ever UK chart-topper with the track (a vibey rap-pop track influenced by the hip-hop sub-genre of bounce) and comes out again on top today. Lovin On Me remains the UK’s most-streamed song this week (6 million streams).

Performing a major revival, cassö, RAYE & D-Block Europe’s Prada is back to a re-peak at Number 2, while Tate McRae’s greedy also rises back up to its previous peak of Number 3. Tate also scores a second Top 20 entry today, with new banger exes this week’s highest new entry at Number 12.

Noah Kahan’s Stick Season continues to rise, up one today (4), while Tyla’s slinky Water is up three (5) and Mitksi’s My Love Mine All Mine re-enters the Top 10 (10).

Following the box office success of The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes, Olivia Rodrigo scales up to Number 13 with Can’t Catch Me Now; taken from the dystopian blockbuster prequel.

Christmas is just around the corner and to prove it, we have no less than five festive tracks present in the UK Top 40 today (and you can expect this number to rise significantly next week). Wham! lead the charge with Last Christmas vaulting 12 places (14) and Mariah Carey is not far behind with All I Want for Christmas is You also scaling up 12 (16).

They are also joined by; Brenda Lee’s Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree (31), Michael Bublé’s It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas (37) and Ariana Grande’s Santa Tell Me (38).

Drake secures a landmark 90th UK Top 40 single today with You Broke My Heart (26), while Chris Brown is up nine on Angel Number/Ten Toes (32).

Kanye West & Pusha T’s modern classic Runaway enters the Top 40 for the first time ever today (34), marking 13 years since the release of Ye’s landmark 2010 magnum opus, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy. Upon original release in 2010, Runaway debuted and peaked at Number 52.

And finally, Paul Russell’s Lil Boo Thang gifts the US rapper his first ever Official Charts entry, jumping 10 to Number 36.
