Lady Gaga Reassures Fans New Music Is on the Way After Welcoming Her First Child

Lady Gaga has reassured fans that they may not have to wait too long for new music, sparking excitement about the follow-up to her 2025 album Mayhem.
The pop superstar responded to a fan who urged her not to leave a lengthy gap between albums following the arrival of her first child, Rose, whom she and her fiancé, Michael Polansky, welcomed via surrogate in June.
The exchange took place in the comments section of a TikTok video promoting Gaga’s Haus Labs Complexion Brush Set. One fan wrote, “Gaga please don’t make us wait long for albums!!! We just want music!!! Every album has been taking longer and longer.”
Gaga quickly put the fan’s concerns to rest with a brief but reassuring response: “Don’t worry.”
Although the singer has not announced a release date for her next album, her comment has fuelled speculation that new material could arrive sooner than expected.
Following Mayhem, Gaga contributed three tracks to The Devil Wears Prada 2, including “Runway”, her collaboration with rapper Doechii.
The rapper previously hinted that the pair have more music in the pipeline. Speaking to E! News in April, Doechii teased, “I don’t want to say too much, because we have more to come, me and Gaga.”
Doechii also praised Gaga as an extraordinary collaborator, describing her as an “angel” and “a master at her craft”.
“It was amazing working with her,” she said. “She is an angel. She is truly a master at her craft, and I hope everybody is enjoying ‘Runway’. She is so fabulous.”
The admiration between the two artists is mutual. Gaga has previously spoken enthusiastically about Doechii’s songwriting and distinctive artistic perspective, describing her music as “immediately legendary”.
In an interview with British Vogue, Gaga explained that she was impressed by the rapper’s talent and emotional honesty.
“You don’t often see someone come out of the gate with a pen that feels immediately legendary. That’s Doechii to me,” she said. “I fell in love with her music and her raw, deeply personal perspective.”
Gaga also highlighted the emotional impact of Doechii’s lyrics, praising the way she combines vulnerability, confidence and lyrical precision.
“The power in her words, her vulnerability, the way she rhymes with this wild mix of audacity and emotional precision — it struck me to the core,” she added.
Doechii later revealed to People magazine that hearing such praise from one of her musical idols left her stunned.
“I audibly gasped, literally,” she recalled, admitting that she is a huge Lady Gaga fan.
She also praised Gaga’s dedication to creativity and her willingness to push artistic boundaries, saying the recognition was deeply validating.
With Gaga’s reassuring message to fans and Doechii’s hints of further collaborations, anticipation is building for what the singer might release next. For now, fans will have to wait for an official announcement, but Gaga’s response suggests that new music remains firmly on her radar.
