Mom Turns Daughter’s Text Messages into a ‘Hit’ Rap Song
Written by WorldOneFm on April 17, 2026
Justice Washam never expected her daughter’s text messages to become a hit song — but now, millions of people are listening.
The 30-year-old mom from Illinois says the idea first came from a friend, who sent her a video of another parent turning their child’s texts into music — a trend just beginning to gain traction on TikTok. “She immediately thought of my daughter because she is hilarious and always is texting crazy silly stuff.”
Washam decided to try it herself, and quickly realized it wasn’t as simple as it looked. “Oh my, the process takes so long; it takes hours,” she says with a laugh.
@justicetheexplorer I tried for 3 hours to figure out how to use my own voice for this and couldn’t figure it out, but it’s only fitting that I turned my thoughts into a song about this 🤭😂😂 Also, am I a lyrical genius?? Someone put me in the studioooooo
