Hilary Duff is set to release a new song, “CATastrophe,” on Friday, October 2, 2026, as part of the upcoming animated adaptation of Dr. Seuss’ “The Cat in the Hat.”
The former “Lizzie McGuire” star teased the fun new track on Instagram with a video showing her discovering the iconic red-and-white striped hat worn by the famous character.
“Hey, I got nine lives, let’s live one up tonight …” Duff wrote alongside the preview.
The release comes as Duff continues the momentum of her successful “Lucky Me” world tour. Following overwhelming demand, the singer recently announced 32 additional dates.
The new international leg begins May 7 in Madrid and will visit cities including Berlin, Paris, Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Stockholm, San Juan, São Paulo, Buenos Aires and Santiago. Rebecca Black will join Duff as support for the European dates.
Duff will return to the United States in 2027 for a North American leg beginning October 1 in Sunrise, Florida. The tour will include stops in Orlando, Raleigh, Baltimore, Uncasville, Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Fort Worth, Milwaukee and Denver before concluding November 20 in Anaheim. Dashboard Confessional and Tegan and Sara are scheduled to appear as special guests on select dates.
Duff revealed the tour expansion during her second sold-out show at London’s O2 Arena in September. During the encore of “What Dreams Are Made Of,” confetti reading “2027 More Dates Loading” fell from the rafters as a countdown appeared on the screens and her website.
Duff entered a new musical era in February with the release of “Luck… or Something,” her first album in more than a decade. The follow-up to 2015’s “Breathe In. Breathe Out.” reached the Top 5 in both the U.S. and U.K.
