Dido Eyes 2027 Comeback with New Album and Tour

Written by on September 9, 2026

Dido is reportedly preparing a highly anticipated return to the music scene in 2027, with a new album and a possible tour in the works.

The “White Flag” singer has returned to the studio with her brother Rollo, the Faithless producer and musician who has worked on some of her biggest hits. Sources close to the project say the pair are nearing completion of the new material.

If everything goes according to plan, Dido could release new music next year and announce her first live shows since 2019.

Her potential comeback comes as interest in her music has grown again. Songs such as “Here With Me” and “Thank You” have gone viral on TikTok, introducing her classic hits to a new generation of fans and boosting their streams.

A source told The Sun’s Bizarre column that it is still early days, but the plan is for Dido to release new music and play some shows in 2027. If confirmed, they would be her first concerts since 2019.

Dido’s last tour took place in 2019, following a 15-year break from touring.

The singer became a global star with her 1999 debut album “No Angel,” which has sold more than 21 million copies worldwide. Its single “Here With Me” became a hit after being used as the theme song for the TV series Roswell and later featured in the movie Love Actually.

However, “Thank You” helped take Dido’s career to an even bigger audience. Eminem heard the song and received permission to sample it for his hit track “Stan.” Dido also appeared in the music video as Stan’s pregnant girlfriend.

In 2003, Dido released “Life for Rent,” which produced hits including “White Flag” and the album’s title track.

Her most recent album, “Still On My Mind,” was released in 2019. Now, six years later, Dido appears to be preparing for one of her most anticipated comebacks yet.
