Glastonbury 2027 Tickets Sell Out in Less Than 30 Minutes
Written by WorldOneFm on October 4, 2026
The first wave of tickets for the 2027 Glastonbury Festival sold out in less than 30 minutes, highlighting the continued demand for one of the world’s biggest music festivals.
According to the BBC, the initial batch of coach packages went on sale at 6 p.m. BST on Thursday and was quickly snapped up. Festival organizers later confirmed the sell-out on Instagram.
Glastonbury will return to Worthy Farm in Pilton, Somerset, from June 23 to 27, 2027, following a scheduled fallow year in 2026.
General admission tickets for the festival are priced at £408, a figure that represents another increase for fans. Jessi Dimmock of the Glasto Cast podcast acknowledged that the price may make some music lovers hesitate, but said the experience remains difficult to match.
“Anyone who has been to Glastonbury, it is magical,” Dimmock told the BBC, describing the festival as “chaos in the best way.”
New ticket system introduced
Organizers also introduced changes to the ticket-buying process this year. Fans were required to enter their pre-registration numbers before joining the virtual queue, a move designed to prevent people from using multiple browsers to gain additional places in line.
Registration for the first sale has now closed, but fans who missed out will have another opportunity during the spring resale.
Oasis rumors shut down
Attention is already turning to who will headline Glastonbury’s iconic Pyramid Stage in 2027.
Oasis fans had hoped the reunited Britpop band might appear at Worthy Farm following the announcement of their 2027 tour dates. However, festival organizer Emily Eavis has ruled out those rumors, confirming that Oasis will not perform at Glastonbury next year.
The official lineup and headliners for the 2027 festival have yet to be announced.
